Brad Howell and his daughter Emily of Melbourne, Fla., won the 1997 "Daddy & Me" Photo Contest sponsored by Piqua, Ohio,-based Evenflo. In the running for the fifth annual contest were more than 8,000 photographs of dads and their children from the United States, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico. Howell won a family trip for four to the Bahamas, an array of Evenflo products, a Fuji camera and a $2,000 product donation for a children's charity of his choice. Celebrity guest Charles Shaughnessy, who plays Maxwell Sheffield on NBC's The Nanny, helped judge the top entries. The winner was selected out of 10 finalists by a panel that included editors from leading consumer and trade magazines. The three runners-up received cash prizes and a Fuji camera. The prizewinning photo will also appear in Evenflo's 1998 "Daddy and Me" national advertisement. The contest honors fathers all across the country. © Internet Fashion Mall, LLC.
